Overview

In the heart of the Prohibition era, love and identity collide.

Recent Yale graduate Heath Johnson is expected to follow in his father’s footsteps, but his heart yearns for something more. He finds it in Art, the enigmatic proprietor of a unique speakeasy in Manhattan, a sanctuary where men are free to explore their sexuality.

As their connection deepens, Heath finds himself torn between the structured life his parents have planned and the intoxicating allure of a forbidden love. When Art’s sanctuary is threatened, Heath must decide where his loyalties lie and what he is willing to risk for a chance at true happiness. A story of love, identity, and rebellion in the vibrant and dangerous world of the Jazz Age. Perfect for readers seeking historical LGBTQ+ romance.
