Overview

One touch can stop time, but can it heal a broken heart?

Luke Aday is grieving the loss of his sister when he discovers he can stop time. But this newfound power only complicates his already messy life. His best friends, Dee and Marcos, are supportive but confused. And then there's Eddie, the enigmatic new kid who seems to understand Luke better than anyone else.

As Luke navigates his powers, his grief, and his growing feelings for Eddie, he uncovers secrets and betrayals that threaten to shatter his world. Can Luke learn to control his abilities and his heart before it's too late? Hold is a poignant and gripping YA novel about love, loss, and finding your place in a world that's constantly changing. For fans of LGBTQ+ fiction, superhero stories, and stories that explore the complexities of mental health.
