Jen lives in Rhode island with her husband, two sons, and a cranky, seven-toed cat. Shes a former criminal prosecutor who still works in government. She likes theater, travel, and Twitter, an admitted addiction. They are both avid readers and share books, recipes, music, and strong opinions.

Discovering love and identity in a world of tradition and change. Two young women, each on a journey of self-discovery, find their lives intertwined at a creative writing conference.

Soph, a city girl accustomed to the fast-paced life of Manhattan, finds herself drawn to Tess, a seemingly reserved farm girl from rural New Hampshire. As they navigate the challenges of the conference, they confront their own expectations and desires, forging a connection that transcends their differences.

Amidst the backdrop of a snow-covered landscape and the pressures of family and tradition, Soph and Tess must learn to embrace their true selves and find the courage to love.
