Author Biography

Elizabeth Crary is the award-winning author of more than 40 children’s and child-guidance publications. She has taught parenting education, with an emphasis on problem-solving and skill-building methods, and established Parenting Press in 1979. She lives in Seattle. Shari Steelsmith is the author of Go to Your Room and How to Start a Home-Based Day-Care Business and a coauthor of When You’re Happy, When You’re Mad, and When You’re Silly. She lives in Bonney Lake, Washington. Mits Katayama is the illustrator of Help! The Kids Are at It Again, Self-Calming Cards, Unplugging Power Struggles, When You’re Happy, When You’re Mad, When You’re Silly, and PEP Talk quarterly for parent educators. He lives in Seattle.
