Kathryn J. Atwood's Women Heroes of World War II has been named one of the Top 10 Books for Amelia Bloomer Project 2012 List. The Amelia Bloomer Project List is an annual booklist of the best feminist books for young readers, ages birth through 18. The ABP committee is a part of the Feminist Task Force of the Social Responsibilities Round Table of the American Library Association.
The final list was decided upon following ALA's Midwinter Meeting.
