Janis Herbert

Janis Herbert is the author of six books for young people (Abraham Lincoln for Kids, The American Revolution for Kids, The Civil War for Kids, Leonardo da Vinci for Kids, Lewis and Clark for Kids, and Marco Polo for Kids. Under her maiden name, Janis Martinson, she is co-author of The World Don't Owe Me Nothing: The Life and Times of Delta Bluesman Honeyboy Edwards. She is currently the manager of a bookstore in northern California.
