Fern R. Hauck, MD, MS, is a professor of family medicine and public health sciences at the University of Virginia. She founded and is the director of the International Family Medicine Clinic in the University of Virginia department of family medicine and serves on the Task Force on SIDS for the American Academy of Pediatrics.
