One of the oldest publishing houses in Chicago, Academy Chicago Publishers was founded in 1975 by husband and wife Jordan and Anita Miller. It was acquired by Chicago Review Press in 2013. With more than two hundred published titles, its books have been released around the world and translated into more than a dozen languages. Some of Academy Chicago’s bestselling publications include Five Chimneys: A Woman Survivor's True Story of Auschwitz, Design for the Real World: Human Ecology and Social Change, and Cook County ICU: 30 Years of Unforgettable Patients and Odd Cases.
