Anna Eleanor Roosevelt wrote the foreword for Every Day Is Election Day. She is the granddaughter of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. She is the president and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Northern New England and chairs the Roosevelt Institute, a nonprofit organization carrying forward the legacy and values of her grandparents. She has a long history of volunteer service on the boards of the March of Dimes, Roosevelt University, Spelman College, and the Foundation for the National Archives, and is currently a member of the board of directors for the Maine Community Foundation and NetImpact. She lives in Portland, Maine.
